This site emerged from two desires of mine.

The first was to contribute to the community of people making the internet personalized and decorporatized again. I miss when you were able to get down and dirty making your custom anime fan-site to share with your friends. I miss when communities were hosted on busted BBS platforms and personal sites, instead of ghost town Discord servers.

The second desire was to exercise my atrophied creative muscles and get more comfortable with expressing myself. I'm still self-conscious about so much, for no good reason. Even throwing together a list of likes has been difficult. To make your creative work public is to define yourself, and to define yourself is to invite criticism (which is scary). To that I say, no more! Who fucking cares!
